This beach is located within Futami Seaside Park in Futami, Iyo City, Ehime Prefecture, and in 2026 is open from 9am to 6pm from Monday, June 29 to Monday, August 31. Because it's adjacent to the roadside station Michi no Eki Futami, it's fully equipped with changing rooms, showers, and coin lockers, making it a major draw that lets you enjoy the sea with almost nothing to carry. Admission is free, and the calm, shallow water is also well suited to small children playing in the sea. Between swims, you can stop by the roadside station's produce hall and rest areas to cool off and take a break. Futami is also known for its beautiful sunsets over the horizon, offering the gentle scenery unique to the Seto Inland Sea.

Tips
Showers cost 200 yen for 2 minutes. The summer sand gets hot, so beach sandals are a must. Swimming is available until 6pm, so it's recommended to wrap up by around 5pm to allow time for changing. The roadside station's parking lot is available, making it an easy spot to access by car.
