About this spot

A swimming beach inside Futami Seaside Park (ふたみシーサイド公園) in Futamicho, Iyo City, Ehime Prefecture (愛媛県伊予市双海町), open in 2026 from Monday 29 June to Monday 31 August, 9:00 to 18:00. Because it adjoins Michi-no-Eki Futami (道の駅ふたみ), changing rooms, showers and coin lockers are all provided, and being able to get into the sea almost empty-handed is a major draw. Entry is free, and the shallow, calm water suits small children. Between swims you can call in at the roadside station's produce hall and rest area to cool off and take a breather. Futamicho (双海町) is also known for the beauty of its sunsets over the horizon, with the calm scenery typical of the Seto Inland Sea (瀬戸内海) spreading out before you.

Tips

Showers cost 200 yen for 2 minutes. Summer sand gets hot, so beach sandals are a must. Swimming ends at 18:00, so allow time to change and wrap up in the 17:00 hour. You can use the roadside station's car park, which makes the spot easy to reach by car.
