About this spot

A roadside station positioned with views over Ise Bay (伊勢湾), with an eatery using local seafood and ingredients particular to Tokoname (常滑), plus an adjoining farmers' market. It is a convenient stop where you can have a proper lunch before your swim, and with toilets and a rest area on site it is easy for families with small children to catch their breath. While you shop, picking up snacks to eat later at Rinku Beach (りんくうビーチ) is also recommended.

愛知県常滑市にある海水浴場で、2026年は7月11日(土)から8月31日(月)まで、毎日10時から16時まで開設されます。遊泳は無料で、更衣室・シャワー・トイレが完備されているほか、カフェ施設やBBQエリアもあり、ライフジャケットの無料貸出もあるため、小さな子ども連れでも安心して海遊びを楽しめます。波打ち際での水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、16時の終了時間まで思いきり夏の海を満喫しましょう。

Tips

駐車場は1日1,000円(11〜3月は500円)。更衣室とシャワーがあるので、着替えの荷物だけ持って身軽に出かけられます。遊泳時間は16時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで15分ほど前には切り上げるのがおすすめです。BBQエリアを使う場合は道具や食材の持ち込みルールを事前に確認しておきましょう。

It sits on the way to Rinku Beach (りんくうビーチ). The eatery can get busy at lunchtime, so the first half of the 12:00 hour is your best bet. At the farmers' market you can also buy local vegetables and seafood.
