About this spot

A comprehensive park representative of Chatan Town, with wide lawns and a play equipment area where you can really move your body. It is close to Sunset Beach (サンセットビーチ), and just the right size for a bit of play before your swim. There is plenty of shade, which is a welcome point for spending time even in the hot hours. Benches and rest areas are scattered around, so adults can take a breather while keeping an eye on the children.

北谷町の美浜にある人工ビーチで、2026年は4月10日(金)から11月30日(月)まで開設されます。営業時間は9時から18時まで(季節により変動)。遠浅で波が穏やかな砂浜は小さな子ども連れの海水浴にも安心です。管理事務所やトイレ、シャワー、ロッカーが整備されているほか、BBQエリアもあり、海水浴の合間に家族でバーベキューを楽しむこともできます。名前のとおり夕方には美しい夕日が海に沈む様子を眺められる、北谷町を代表するビーチです。

Tips

美浜アメリカンビレッジから徒歩圏内でアクセスしやすい立地です。シャワーやロッカーの利用には料金がかかる場合があるため、小銭を用意しておくと安心。夏の砂浜は日中とても熱くなるのでビーチサンダルは必携です。営業終了は18時なので、着替えの時間を見込んで余裕を持って切り上げましょう。

Tips

Access from the parking lot is good, and the grounds are easy to get around even with a stroller. If you plan to use the play equipment, clothes that are easy to move in are recommended. During the strongest sunshine, choose a shaded bench as your rest spot.
