A rocky coastline within Ishibama Prefectural Nature Park, close to Ishibama Beach. Tidepools formed in the rocks harbor crabs, small fish, and shells—captivating children for hours. Choose calm water times, and even small children can safely walk between rocks observing sea life. A unique ocean experience before the sandy beach awaits.

日立市の伊師浜にある海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月23日(日)まで、9時から16時まで開設されます。松林に囲まれた落ち着いた雰囲気の砂浜で、遊泳は無料。シャワーとトイレも無料で利用できるほか、約260台分の公営駐車場(普通車1,000円/日)も整っているため、車で訪れる家族連れも安心です。波打ち際での水遊びや砂遊びをのんびり楽しみながら、閉場の16時まで夏の1日を締めくくりましょう。
Tips
駐車場は普通車1,000円/日で有料ですが、シャワーとトイレは無料です。営業は16時までなので、着替えの時間も見込んで15分ほど前には切り上げるのがおすすめ。夏の砂浜は熱くなるため、ビーチサンダルがあると移動が楽になります。
Tips
Rocks are slippery; wear beach sandals or water shoes rather than going barefoot. Return observed creatures gently to their original spots. Low tide offers more tidepools—time your visit accordingly.

About 45 minutes. Morning low tide times offer the most tidepools.
