Located in Tanable, Mutsu City, Tanable Shrine is the regional guardian shrine of the Shimokita region and has long been revered for protection and blessings. Known as the starting point of the annual "Tanable Matsuri" festival held in August, the shrine grounds are surrounded by peaceful woods. Venue: むつ市・愛宕山海水浴場

むつ市にある愛宕山海水浴場は、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月16日(日)まで開設され、遊泳時間は10時から15時まで(12時から13時は休憩)です。むつ湾に面した波の穏やかな海水浴場で、遊泳は無料。駐車場は50台分用意されているほか、トイレと冷水シャワーも備わっており、着替えや汗を流すのに困りません。大きな混雑になりにくく、家族でゆったりと海水浴を楽しめるのが魅力です。午前中に下北の歴史と文化に触れたあと、午後はこの海でのんびり波遊びや砂遊びを満喫して1日を締めくくりましょう。

Tips

駐車場は50台分あるので車でのアクセスが便利です。冷水シャワーはありますが温水ではないため、真夏でも湯冷めに注意。12時から13時は休憩時間にあたるため、午後にゆったり訪れる今回のコースがちょうど良いタイミングです。遊泳は15時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで14時45分ごろには切り上げるのがおすすめです。

Tips

Located in the central part of Mutsu City, easily accessible by car. Don't forget your hat and drinks on hot days. The grounds have mostly flat terrain, making it easy to navigate with a stroller.
