Located in Midoriga-oka Park in central Obihiro, this is a representative zoo of eastern Hokkaido. From Hokkaido-characteristic animals like polar bears, seals, and Ezo brown bears to popular favorites, you can leisurely view the compact grounds at your own pace. In the morning right after opening, it's relatively uncrowded and animals are active—a perfect start to the day for the whole family to enjoy at a relaxed pace. The adjacent Obihiro Centennial Museum is just a short walk away.

幕別町運動公園を会場に開催される、地元密着の夏祭り「まくべつ夏フェスタ2026」です。2026年7月20日(月)13時の開場から、ステージイベントやたくさんの露店が並ぶ会場を1日楽しめます。もともと7月19日開催予定でしたが、雨予報のため今日に順延となった経緯があり、天候にはあらためて注意が必要です。フィナーレは20時ごろから、約3,000発の花火が夜空を彩ります。地域の人たちと一緒に夏の夜を楽しむ、あたたかい雰囲気の祭りです。
Tips
会場までは帯広市内から車で15〜20分程度。荒天時は開催内容が変更・中止となる可能性があるため、当日は町の公式発表で最新情報を確認しましょう。夕方以降は駐車場や周辺道路が混み合うため、早めの来場がおすすめです。終了後は帰りの渋滞を避けて、しばらく余韻を楽しんでから移動するのも一案です。
