About this spot
A municipal complex facility centered on hot springs and a swimming pool, situated on a plateau overlooking Mount Nagi. In summer, you can enjoy vigorous activities at the pool and refresh yourself in the hot springs before heading to the festival—the perfect stop before the cooling festival. A dining area inside allows you to grab a light meal before heading to the event. The cool breeze characteristic of Mount Nagi's foothills is pleasant, making it ideal for resetting summer fatigue. Lodging facilities are also available, making it convenient as a base for families visiting from afar.

2026年7月22日(水)開催、陸上自衛隊日本原駐屯地の武蔵館前を会場にした納涼大会です。18時の開場から自衛隊ならではの車両展示や模擬店でにぎわい、地元の人々でにぎわう夏祭りの雰囲気を楽しめます。夕食は会場内の模擬店で調達しながら、夜が更けるのを待ちましょう。フィナーレには花火が打ち上がり、那岐山のふもとの夜空を彩ります。基地の中で過ごす夏祭りという非日常感は、他の花火大会にはない特別な体験になります。
Tips
基地内へは指定された入場口から入場し、係員の案内に従いましょう。荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は事前に確認を。終了後は駐屯地周辺の道が混み合うため、少し時間を置いてからの退場がおすすめです。
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from the Great Ginkgo at Bodaiji Temple. Bring a towel and change of clothes. There can be crowded times, so allow flexible scheduling. About 10 minutes by car to Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Nihonhara Base.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Early evening hours are relatively uncrowded.
