As evening approaches, people gradually begin to gather on the Uono River riverbank in preparation for watching the fireworks. Spread out a leisure sheet and relax while waiting for the sky to darken, gathered around the bento you brought or snacks picked up nearby. Watching the sky's colors shift from sunset to night over the open scenery where the two rivers meet is also a highlight.

Tips

Since staking out spots begins in the evening, arriving early is a good idea if you want to secure a good spot. Check the location of restrooms while it is still light. The riverbank becomes dark underfoot at night, so please be careful.
