A park built on the grounds of Kanazawa Castle, the former home of the 1-million-koku Kaga domain, located just next to Kenroku-en. Reconstructed structures like the Hishi-yagura and Gojukken-nagaya feature beautiful white walls and mud walls, allowing visitors to feel the grandeur of the original castle. The spacious grounds have well-maintained walking paths, perfect for family strolls.

Just a short walk from Kenroku-en. You can cross the Ishikawa Bridge to move between the two. Viewing building interiors may require separate admission fees, but even enjoying the exterior is worthwhile.
Best time to visit
Takes about 1 hour. As evening approaches, the sun's rays soften and walking becomes more comfortable.
