About this spot

A small station-front area at the heart of Nakafurano-cho, close to the Nakafurano Lavender Festival venue. Around town, produce stands selling local summer vegetables and melons, along with cafes, are scattered amid a relaxed rural landscape offering classic Hokkaido food. The station front has a calm atmosphere where tourists and locals mingle, with an unhurried pace quite different from the bustle of a big city. It's a good spot to stop for a light bite and souvenir shopping while taking a break after enjoying the flowers at Farm Tomita.
