Take the sightseeing lift up the mountain for grand views of lavender fields and Furano Basin

About this spot

Hokkasei Mountain Lavender Park spreads across the mountainside—also the venue for the Nakafurano Lavender Festival & Fireworks Show. During the summer festival period, a sightseeing lift operates for quick ascents to the summit. The lavender fields blanketing the slope visible from the lift and the rural Furano Basin scenery beyond create a spectacular view unique to this season. From the mountaintop observation spot, you can see as far as the Tokachi Mountain Range, and knowing that fireworks will launch from this very location at night makes it perfect to get a feel for the venue during the day.

Venue:

Shells: approx. 7,000

Tips
