This is a products hall lined with Nankan Town's local specialties, where you can enjoy authentic local flavors such as Nankan somen (南関そうめん), a traditional noodle dish handed down since the Edo period, and Nankan-age (南関あげ), deep-fried tofu. The direct-sales area is also stocked with locally grown vegetables and processed goods, making it a spot where you can experience the full food culture of Nankan Town. The dining area also serves meals made with local specialty dishes, making it a perfect stop to refuel midway through your trip.

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from the Nankan Ochaya Site. Since the area can get crowded from evening onward on fireworks days, it is reassuring to buy your souvenirs during the daytime.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour. It gets especially busy around lunchtime, so a slightly earlier time is a good window.
