This lush, green park in Nankan Town is a local gathering spot with a history that includes a mountain castle once built here. The grounds have well-maintained walking paths, letting families relax together in a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by trees. Also known as a cherry blossom spot, the park shows a different face depending on the season. In summer, the shade of the trees feels pleasant, making it a great place to take a break during your stroll.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from Michi-no-Eki Nankan (道の駅 なんかん). The grounds have some ups and downs, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Insect repellent is reassuring in summer.

About 1 hour 20 minutes. The afternoon, when the sunlight softens, is a comfortable and recommended time.
