Fujigahama, the venue for tonight's fireworks display, is a calm sandy beach facing Susaki Bay. The evening sea breeze feels pleasant on the beach, and as the sun sinks, the sky and sea take on a beautiful orange glow. Once you arrive early and secure a spot, spread out the snacks and drinks you've picked up and relax while waiting for the show to start. The very process of watching local people gather and the atmosphere of the town's summer festival build is one of the pleasures unique to a regional fireworks display. If food stalls are set up, you can pick up food here too, but popular items may sell out early.

Tips

On the day of the fireworks display, parking around the venue begins to fill up early. Using public transportation or securing parking early is recommended.
