About this spot

A samurai residential area where warriors who served the Goto family, chief retainers of the Tosa clan during the Edo period, lived. The streetscape with hedgerows and mud walls still remains today. Walking slowly through the orderly laid-out streets allows you to feel the atmosphere of when it flourished as a castle town. Also known as a route for pilgrims visiting the Shikoku sacred sites, it's a quiet and charming sightseeing course.

Approximately 5 minutes' walk from Nora Clock. As this is a residential area, please observe quietly to avoid disturbing residents' daily lives.
