About this spot

"Little Kyoto of Mikawa," as it is also called—a historical park in the center of Nishio City that has been developed on the site of the former Nishio Castle. Restored buildings such as the Touseki Gate and the Ninomaru Ushitora Turret line the grounds, conveying the image of an Edo-period castle to the present day. The park is perfect for a historical walk with family. The grounds are not overly large but compactly laid out, so even families with small children can easily tour the area. Start your summer day by slowly savoring Nishio's historic townscape.
