About this spot

This area spreads out in front of Meitetsu Nishio Station, gathering restaurants and convenience stores. Since the food stalls around the festival venue get very crowded on the day of the event, having dinner here first and picking up drinks and snacks makes for a more comfortable evening of fireworks viewing. The area in front of the station has a relatively calm atmosphere, another plus for enjoying a relaxed family meal.

Tips

About a 15-minute drive from Yonezu Bridge. Roads get crowded in the evening on the day of the fireworks festival, so allow plenty of time to get there. It's also convenient to pick up ice and cold packs here.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes. The earlier in the evening, the more relaxed it will be.
