About this spot
The area around Sakuhira Station, where the Hokuriku Shinkansen also stops, is a newly developed area within Saku City. Commercial facilities and restaurants are concentrated here, making it a perfect spot to rest and shop before the fireworks festival. The station plaza is open and spacious, ideal for families to take a breather. The location also makes it easy to travel to the Chikuma River riverbank toward evening.

2026年8月15日(土)開催、信州佐久の夏を代表する花火大会です。千曲川河川敷(佐久橋・野沢橋間)から約4,000発の花火が打ち上がり、広い川幅を活かした大迫力のスターマインが夜空いっぱいに広がります。周囲を山に囲まれた盆地ならではの音の響きも見どころのひとつ。1日たっぷり佐久の歴史と自然を巡った締めくくりにふさわしい、迫力満点のフィナーレです。
Tips
荒天時は中止や順延の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は佐久市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路と佐久平駅が大変混雑するため、時間差での移動がおすすめです。夜は冷えることがあるので羽織ものを忘れずに。
Tips
About 20 minutes by car from Tatsuoka Castle Five-Pointed Fort. During summer vacation season, parking lots may get crowded. It's about 15 minutes by car to the next destination, the Chikuma River riverbank.
Best time to visit
Takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Late afternoon hours offer a relatively calm atmosphere.
