This area preserves the samurai residences that were built during the Tosa domain era as the center of local governance. The long stone walls and earthen fences, along with bamboo fences surrounding the residences, retain the atmosphere of the Edo period. Combined with Nahari's history as a center of Tosa charcoal production, this peaceful walking area offers a genuine glimpse into the past.
