The gateway to Arita Town on the JR Sasebo Line. Before heading to Juhachiya (十八夜) at Ryusenji Temple in the evening, having an early dinner at a restaurant near the station lets you head to the mountainside evening event feeling settled and unhurried. The area around the station has a calm atmosphere in the evening, making it a good time to catch your breath before the close of a day spent in this pottery town.
Tips
Traveling to Ryusenji Temple by car is convenient. Mountain roads get dark at night, so it is best to head out early. It is also a good idea to use the restroom here before setting off.
