洲本市街地一帯を舞台に開かれる、淡路島を代表する夏の一大行事「淡路島まつり」です。2026年は7月31日(金)・8月1日(土)の2日間にわたって開催され、このコースでは初日である7月31日を主役に据えています。初日は18時30分から22時までの開催で、地域の団体による催しやステージイベントが市街地一帯を盛り上げます。昼間に訪れた洲本城跡や商店街、大浜海岸で感じた港町の歴史と自然の豊かさが、夜の祭りの熱気とともに一層印象深いものになるはずです。
Tips
祭り当日は市街地が大変混雑し、車両通行止めになる場合があります。公共交通機関の利用が安心です。よい場所で観覧したい場合は早めの到着がおすすめです。荒天時の開催可否は公式情報で確認しましょう。

It's within walking distance from Sumoto Castle Ruins. Entry requires a fee. The interior is not very large, so you can see everything in about 30–40 minutes.
Best time to visit
About 45 minutes. It's best to visit in the early afternoon along with seeing the castle ruins.
