洲本市街地一帯を舞台に開かれる、淡路島を代表する夏の一大行事「淡路島まつり」です。2026年は7月31日(金)・8月1日(土)の2日間にわたって開催され、このコースでは初日である7月31日を主役に据えています。初日は18時30分から22時までの開催で、地域の団体による催しやステージイベントが市街地一帯を盛り上げます。昼間に訪れた洲本城跡や商店街、大浜海岸で感じた港町の歴史と自然の豊かさが、夜の祭りの熱気とともに一層印象深いものになるはずです。

Tips

祭り当日は市街地が大変混雑し、車両通行止めになる場合があります。公共交通機関の利用が安心です。よい場所で観覧したい場合は早めの到着がおすすめです。荒天時の開催可否は公式情報で確認しましょう。

It's within walking distance from Sumoto Honmachi Shopping Street. In summer, the sun is strong, so a hat or parasol provides peace of mind. Some days the wind along the coast can be strong, so a light jacket or cardigan is comfortable.
