About this spot

This quiet beach facing the Sea of Japan is located a little north of the Sekinai district. On this peaceful shore, free from crowds, you can relax while listening to the sound of the waves. It's also a perfect time for kids to connect with nature, such as collecting shells or observing creatures along the water's edge. The coastline, which stretches as far as the eye can see, offers a sense of openness you can't experience in the city.

Tips

Since this is not managed as a swimming beach, please take great care with your footing and the weather when swimming or exploring the tide pools. Facilities such as restrooms are limited, so it's a good idea to take care of that beforehand. The area you can walk changes with the tide.

Best time to visit

About 50 minutes. Early afternoon has soft sunlight that's easy to walk in.
