A castle ruins park developed at the site of the former Takatsuki Castle, with a spacious lawn plaza and water features centered around the recently renovated Arts & Culture Theater. It's also one of the main venues for the Takatsuki Festival, and taking a walk here before the festival begins will help you grasp the venue's atmosphere and scale. It's a symbol of Takatsuki's new city where history and contemporary architecture harmonize.

高槻城公園芸術文化劇場周辺と城北通商店街を舞台に、2026年8月1日(土)・2日(日)の2日間にわたって開催される高槻市を代表する夏祭りです。会場では地元団体によるパレードやステージイベントなど多彩な催しが行われ、街全体が祭りムードに包まれます。リニューアルされた高槻城公園の広場と、昔ながらの商店街の両方が会場となるため、新旧の高槻の魅力を同時に感じられるのも特徴です。

Tips

会場周辺は歩行者天国となり混雑するため、公共交通機関の利用がおすすめです。長時間の観覧になるため、こまめな休憩と水分補給を心がけましょう。夜は気温が下がるので薄手の羽織ものがあると安心です。

Within walking distance from Takatsuki Center-gai. On festival day, visitor numbers increase from the afternoon, so strolling at this time is relatively calm. Some plazas have little shade, so remember to hydrate.
