This river flows at the foot of Yatsuo's hillside town, forming a scenic landscape that blends seamlessly with the townscape. Walking along the riverside path, you can enjoy views of the houses and storehouses lining the slope above, getting a feel for how Yatsuo's town came to be. It's a perfect spot to cool off in the river breeze during a stroll, and also makes a good rest stop to recover your energy before the festival.
Tips
It's within walking distance of Keijusha. Some parts of the riverside path can be slippery, so watch your footing. Insects tend to increase in the evening, so bug spray is a good idea.
