A Serene Japanese Garden for Cooling Off While Walking Around a Central Pond
About this spot
A traditional Japanese landscape garden developed on the former site of a samurai family chief's residence in the Chofu domain. Centered around a large pond with waterfalls and artificial hills, the garden is planted with seasonal flowers and plants. In summer, the lush greenery reflected in the pond creates a refreshing atmosphere. This is an ideal rest spot for those fatigued from exploring the castle town, offering cooling views of the water.
