A small townscape spreading out in front of Tsuwano Station (津和野駅), also known as the terminus of the SL Yamaguchi (SLやまぐち号) steam train, dotted with local eateries and souvenir shops. Since Tonomachi Street (殿町通り) is within walking distance, it's convenient to have dinner here before heading to the Bon dance venue. By evening, a sense of festival excitement also begins to be felt around the station.
Tips
About a 10-minute walk to the venue. The area around the venue gets crowded at night, so it's reassuring to finish dinner by around 16:00-16:59.
