This museum in a corner of the Udatsu Townscape introduces the history of the tobacco industry in Ikeda from the Edo period onward. Through exhibits of manufacturing tools used at the time and displays depicting the life of merchant families, you can understand why so many magnificent merchant houses were built in this small town. It's ideal as preparation or review for your townscape exploration, and is a must-visit spot for families who love history.
