七尾市石崎町の八幡神社を中心に開かれる、能登地方でも屈指の勇壮さで知られる奉燈祭です。2026年は8月1日の開催で、高さ十数メートルにもなる巨大な奉燈(キリコ)を若者たちが威勢よく担ぎ、太鼓の音と掛け声とともに町を練り歩きます。港町ならではの荒々しくも活気に満ちた担ぎ方が特徴で、夜が更けるにつれて祭りの熱気は最高潮に達します。能登の夏祭りの中でも特に力強さが際立つ、見応えのある一夜です。
Tips
祭り当日は町内の道路が交通規制となることがあります。奉燈が練り歩く際は周囲が大変混雑するため、小さなお子さん連れは安全な距離を保って見学しましょう。

There is a gentle slope from the parking area into the park. In summer, walking in shaded areas keeps you cool and comfortable.
Best time to visit
Allow approximately 40 minutes. The afternoon hours with plenty of shade are most comfortable.
