An Ancient Temple with Five Hundred Expressively-Carved Arhat Statues
About this spot
This ancient temple is connected to the Daisho-ji clan and is known for the five hundred Arhat statues enshrined in its Arhat Hall. Each statue has a unique expression and gesture, and it's said that if you look closely, you can find a face resembling your own. Both adults and children become absorbed in observing them. The quiet temple grounds offer a tranquil atmosphere far from the bustle of the castle town.
