Hadano's signature hiking spot featuring three mountains—Gongenyama, Hobo Mountain, and Azumayama—connected by gentle ridges. The observation deck on Gongenyama's summit is easily accessible and offers stunning views of the Tanzawa mountains and the Kanto Plain. The tree-lined trails provide shade, making it comfortable for family walks even in September when the summer heat has eased. Known as a cherry blossom spot, the lush green season walks are equally delightful.

かつて全国有数の葉たばこの産地として栄えた秦野市の歴史にちなんで名づけられた、地域を挙げての秋祭りです。本町小学校周辺のパレードコースを中心に、神輿や踊りの一団が練り歩き、街全体が2日間にわたって祭り一色に染まります。丹沢の山並みを背景に日が暮れていく中、太鼓の音とともに練り歩く行列を見守るのは、都心の大規模な祭りとはまた違った、地域に根づいた温かい賑わいです。初日となるこの日は、街に祭りの熱気が広がり始める瞬間を体感できます。

Tips

会場周辺は当日交通規制がかかることが多いため、車で来る場合は事前に迂回路や駐車場を確認しておきましょう。パレードの通過時刻は年により変わるため、当日の案内板や地元の告知で確認するのが確実です。夜は気温が下がることがあるので、羽織るものを一枚持っておくと安心です。

Bus or taxi from Hadano Station is convenient. There's a gentle uphill to the observation deck, so wear comfortable shoes. Bring water and hike at a comfortable pace.
