About this spot

An open plaza spreading before Takasaki Station's west exit, with restaurants and shopping facilities concentrated nearby. During events, stages are sometimes set up, making it a convenient meeting point and place to grab a meal before heading to the festival. The station building and nearby shopping facilities have family-friendly restaurants from which you can choose dinner according to your preference.

Tips

As the festival start time approaches, the station area becomes congested. Entering from the mid-late 3 PM hour is safer. Food stall availability varies by year, so securing dinner here beforehand is a good idea.

Best time to visit

About 55 minutes. It's recommended to have dinner during the calm time before the festival starts.
