A hot spring facility built on a high plateau overlooking the Chikuma River basin, boasting views of Tomi city and the mountains beyond from inside the facility. Observation decks and benches are set up around the facility, so you can enjoy the views without entering the building. On a summer afternoon, taking a refreshing break while enjoying the rural scenery in a cool breeze becomes a pleasant respite before the festival.

東御市の田中商店街一帯を舞台に開かれる「雷電まつり〜東御どすこいSUNSUN〜」です。2026年は8月1日(土)に開催され、江戸時代に活躍した郷土出身の伝説の大力士・雷電爲右エ門にちなみ、相撲にまつわる催しや地域の踊りで商店街が賑わいます。屋台も軒を連ね、地域の団体や子どもたちによる出し物も見どころのひとつです。このコースでは、昼間に海野宿や雷電にまつわるスポットを巡ったあと、夜はその集大成として商店街の賑わいを楽しむ構成にしています。

まつり当日は田中商店街周辺が混雑し、車両の乗り入れが規制される場合があります。屋台の出店内容や催しの詳細は年により変わるため、最新情報は現地または公式案内で確認しましょう。小さな子ども連れは人混みではぐれないよう手をつないで歩くと安心です。
