A scenic spot registered as a component asset of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage "Mount Fuji," featuring approximately 30,000 pine trees in a row. Known as the stage of the legend of Hagoromo, the view of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay through the pine forest is breathtakingly beautiful on clear days. Walking along the sandy beach offers pleasant sea breezes, allowing you to fully enjoy nature away from the hustle and bustle of the port town.

2026年は7月31日から8月2日まで開催される、清水港を挙げての夏祭りです。初日は18時45分から、2日目以降は18時30分から、清水駅前から港橋にかけてのさつき通りで「港かっぽれ総おどり」が繰り広げられます。法被や浴衣に身を包んだ踊り手たちが軽快な「かっぽれ」の音頭に合わせて練り歩き、沿道を埋める観客も一緒に手拍子で盛り上がります。港町ならではの開放的な雰囲気の中、21時の終演まで熱気の絶えない時間が続きます。

Tips

さつき通り沿いは開始前から見物客で賑わうため、良い場所で見たい場合は18時前には到着しておくと安心です。周辺道路は交通規制がかかるので公共交通機関の利用がおすすめです。

Tips

About 15 minutes by car from Espuls Dream Plaza. It's also recommended to walk the "Way of God" approach from Miho Shrine to the pine forest. Strong sunlight in summer, so don't forget sun protection measures.
