About this spot

In 2026 there is a preview period on weekends only from Saturday, June 20 to Sunday, July 5, and the main season runs from Saturday, July 11 to Sunday, August 16, from 10:00 to 16:00 (with a 10-minute break each hour from :50 to the top of the hour). It is a free water-play area laid out at a shallow depth, so even small children can play safely with a guardian watching close by. There are also fountains that send up spray, so simply touching the water makes for an enjoyable time. The surroundings have many trees and plenty of shade, so it is comfortable to spend time there with breaks even under the midsummer sun, which is the appeal. It is just the right size for a casual day trip close to home.

Tips

Closed days are Mondays except July 21, plus July 22. There is a break each hour, so during breaks it is a good idea to hydrate in the shade. Weekend afternoons get crowded and it can be hard to find a spot, so spreading out your picnic sheet early is reassuring.

Best time to visit

Entering at 13:00 is relatively quiet and lets you play at a relaxed pace until 16:00 with breaks in between
