About this spot

This roadside station is lined with specialties of Otaki Town and locally grown vegetables. It is placed so you can stop by on the way to the valley, and is just the right size for picking up lunch boxes and snacks. It is also handy for a toilet break and topping up drinks, letting you get ready for water play at the Yoro Valley ahead. Just looking at the local selection lifts your travel mood.

Tips

There are few shops around the valley, so picking up lunch and snacks here in one go is reassuring. The car park can get busy on weekends during the summer holidays, so arriving early is recommended.

Best time to visit

About 30 to 45 minutes. Stopping by before noon on the way to the valley is recommended
