This castle-ruins park was built on the former site of Takatsuki Castle. Centered on the recently renewed Arts and Culture Theater, it now features a spacious lawn plaza and water features. As one of the main venues of Takatsuki Matsuri, taking a walk here before the festival gets underway makes it easier to grasp the atmosphere and scale of the venue. It's a new symbol of Takatsuki where history and modern architecture come together in harmony.
Tips
Within walking distance of Takatsuki Center Gai. Crowds build up from the afternoon on festival day, so a stroll during this earlier time slot is relatively calm. Some plaza areas have little shade, so stay hydrated.
