Kijo Park (亀城公園) is a park laid out on the site where Kariya Castle (刈谷城) once stood, and it is cherished locally as a cherry-blossom spot. Traces of the moat and stone monuments remain in the grounds, so you can stroll while sensing the history of Kariya. Plazas and walking paths are laid out, making it easy to walk even with small children. There is plenty of shade too, so you can spend a relaxed time with breaks along the way. It is a perfect spot for a little movement before entering the pool.
