Lunch and a rest at a day-use hot spring facility
About this spot
Kazuma no Yu (数馬の湯) is a day-use hot spring facility in the mountain folds of Hinohara Village. The dining area serves dishes made with local ingredients, letting everyone fill up properly before river play. Day-use bathing is also available, so if you have time, resting in the hot spring is recommended too. The interior is clean and laid out so that it is easy to use with small children.

神戸岩(かのといわ)は、檜原村神戸にある高さ100メートルを超える切り立った岩壁が両側にそびえる渓谷です。その間を流れる神戸川は澄み切った清流で、夏には浅瀬で水遊びを楽しむ家族連れが訪れます。ロッヂ神戸岩キャンプ場を経由して訪れるのが一般的で、遊歩道は通年で利用できます。切り立った岩壁に囲まれた独特の景観は、他の渓谷ではなかなか味わえない迫力があります。
Tips
水はひんやりと冷たいため、日差しのある暖かい時間帯に遊ぶのがおすすめです。岩場は滑りやすい場所もあるため、濡れても滑りにくい靴を用意しておくと安心です。山あいで日が陰るのも早いため、時間に余裕を持って計画しましょう。
Tips
It is about a 20-minute drive from Hossawa Falls. In busy seasons seats fill up quickly at lunchtime, so visiting a little earlier lets you eat in peace.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 15 minutes. Stopping by at lunchtime before entering the river is recommended.
