Sweeping views of Sagami Bay and the Tanzawa mountains from the observation deck
About this spot
A park spreading across the summit of Mount Koma, proud of a view from the observation deck reaching not only across Sagami Bay but from the Tanzawa range to Mount Fuji. From the observation room in the television tower you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama and look down on the coastline you are about to visit. The lush park also has play equipment and open ground, suited to moving about a little before sea bathing. Easy access by car is another of its charms.

平塚市の平塚海岸に広がる海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月31日(月)まで開設されます。遊泳時間は9時から17時までです。相模川の河口に近く、遠くに丹沢の山並みを望める開放感のある景色が魅力の海水浴場です。都心からのアクセスの良さもあり、日帰りで海水浴を楽しむ家族連れに人気があります。広い砂浜には海の家や休憩スペースも整い、1日たっぷり水遊びを楽しめます。
Tips
平塚駅から車やバスでアクセスできます。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダルが必携です。遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで少し早めに切り上げるのがおすすめです。
Tips
Access by car is convenient and parking is in place. There is a gentle slope up to the observation deck, so comfortable shoes are recommended. On summer mornings the air is often clear and the view fine.
