About this spot

The Tatsuta Fureai-no-Sato roadside station (道の駅立田ふれあいの里) is a rest spot with a farmers market and a dining area in Aisai City (愛西市) at the western edge of Aichi Prefecture. Its menu is rich in dishes using the local specialty lotus root, and you can find one-of-a-kind items available only here, such as lotus-root soft-serve ice cream and lotus-root ramen. Fresh local vegetables and souvenirs are also on offer, so you can fuel up and stock up before water play in a single stop. It is close to Kiso Sansen Park (国営木曽三川公園) and just right for a break on a riverside drive.

138タワーパークの「やすらぎの池」は、国営木曽三川公園のシンボルタワー「ツインアーチ138」のふもとに広がる水遊びスポットです。2026年は3月中旬から11月までの開園時間内で池に水が通され、7月中旬から9月上旬にはスプリンクラー噴水も稼働します。浅く穏やかな水辺なので、小さな子どもも安心して水にふれることができます。園内には水てっぽうなどの貸出イベントが実施される期間もあり、家族で楽しみの幅が広がります。一宮のシンボルを眺めながら過ごす、開放的な1日のクライマックスです。

Tips

スプリンクラー噴水の稼働時間や水てっぽう貸出イベントの実施状況は時期によって異なるため、事前に公式サイトで確認しておくと安心です。水は浅いとはいえ目を離さず、レジャーシートを敷いて休憩スペースを確保しておくと過ごしやすくなります。

Tips

It can get crowded at lunchtime, so visiting with time to spare is recommended. Lotus-root soft-serve ice cream is popular with children too, so why not have it as an after-meal treat? Buying extra drinks and snacks for water play here also gives peace of mind.
