A roadside station (michi-no-eki) in Aisai City that had its grand opening on April 5, 2026. It has a direct-sales area for locally grown produce, especially lotus root, along with a space to eat. Connecting the lotus field you saw in the morning to the lotus root laid out in front of you here helps even children understand what a growing region means. The building is new, and being able to enjoy a relaxed meal in a bright, open space is a nice touch. Since the Jabujabu Pond is on the same grounds, you won't lose time moving after your meal. If you're missing anything for water play, you can pick it up here for peace of mind.
Tips
Closed on Thursdays and during the New Year holidays. Seats can fill up quickly around noon on weekends and holidays, so going in a bit earlier lets you eat more calmly. If you're buying fresh food, an insulated bag lets you leave it safely in the car during the afternoon's water play. Getting into water right after eating puts strain on the body, so rest for about 30 minutes before heading to the pond.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 20 minutes. Going in before noon is comfortable if you want to avoid crowds
