The lawn plaza at Kameoka Sports Park has wooden athletic play equipment, a zip line, a sandpit and a long slide. Wooden equipment uses the whole body to climb up and down, so playing hard works up a sweat and makes the water afterwards feel many times better. The zip line is ridden in turn, which naturally becomes an occasion for children to learn to give way to one another. There is a sandpit too, so even with small siblings everyone can choose a way to play that suits their age. The fountain is right next door, so being able to move back and forth between equipment and water is what makes this plaza so convenient.

亀岡運動公園芝生広場の噴水は、レジャープール横の芝生広場にある、地面から水が噴き出すタイプの水遊び場です。池や柵がないので、噴き出す水の間を自由に走り回れ、体を思いきり動かしたい子どもにはうってつけの遊び場になっています。夏場は一定間隔で噴水が上がる運転なので、水が上がるタイミングを待つ時間も子どもには楽しみになります。公園と芝生広場の利用は無料で、レジャープール「かめプー」のみ別料金です。同じ広場に木製アスレチック遊具やターザンロープ、砂場、長いすべり台があるため、水から上がったあとの居場所にも困りません。

Tips

2026年の開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間が遊びどきです。運転状況は日によって変わるので、出発前に亀岡市の案内で確認しておくと空振りを防げます。更衣室の案内は出ていないため、水着は下に着ていくかタオルポンチョを用意すると着替えがスムーズです。芝生広場は日を遮るものが限られるので、レジャーシートと帽子で日差し対策をしてください。

Tips

In summer the surface of the equipment can get hot, so touch it to check before letting children play. Wooden equipment can have splinters, so playing in shoes rather than bare feet is safer. After playing in the sandpit, brushing off the sand before getting into the fountain is more comfortable. Keep topping up drinks and take breaks in the shade.
