Sun Patio Ono (サンパティオおの) is Ono City's farmers' market located inside Himawari-no-oka Park. Vegetables, fruit, and processed goods brought in that morning by local farmers line the shelves, and it's fun just to see the lineup change with the seasons. It also sells bread and light meals, so being able to finish lunch without leaving the park is a big advantage for families. Spread out what you've bought on the park's lawn or a bench, and it becomes a mini picnic on its own. Be sure to also stock up here on drinks and snacks for the afternoon's water play.

Tips

Popular vegetables and products can sell out by late morning, so stop by early if there's something specific you want. Business days and hours can vary by season, so it's a good idea to check the official information. There are shaded benches and gazebos in the park, so eating there is comfortable on hot days. Taking your trash home with you is the general rule, so bring extra bags.
