Hyogo Prefectural Harima Chuo Park (兵庫県立播磨中央公園) is a very large prefectural park, and within it the Garden of the Four Seasons (四季の庭) is a garden area where you can enjoy seasonal flowers and well-tended planting. The paths are well maintained, so strollers move easily, and shaded benches are scattered about, letting you rest along the way even on hot days. Walking here before the water play gives you a sense of the park's size and layout, which makes it easier to plan your afternoon. The flowers change with the season, so a spring or autumn visit leaves a completely different impression along the same path. The Children's Stream is just a short walk within the park, so once you decide where to leave your bags, moving back and forth is easy.

兵庫県立播磨中央公園子どもの小川は、公園の中央広場ゾーンにある全長およそ160メートルの人工のせせらぎです。例年3月20日(金)頃から11月30日(月)頃まで、3月下旬から11月下旬にかけて水が流されます。夏だけでなく春や秋にも通水されているので、暑さの落ち着いた季節に足をひたして歩くのも気持ちのよい過ごし方です。周囲は芝生とベンチに囲まれていて、荷物を置いて見守る拠点をつくりやすいのが家族連れにはありがたいところ。2026年の確定した日程はまだ公表されておらず、ポンプの調整などで臨時に停止することがあります(2026年は7月31日から8月7日に調整の予定)。料金は無料です。

Tips

出かける前に公園の最新のお知らせで通水状況を確かめてください。底や縁の石は濡れると滑るので、水遊び用サンダルかウォーターシューズを履かせ、走らないことを先に約束しておきましょう。着替えの場所は限られるため、バスタオルを一枚多めに持っていくと困りません。ぬれた服を入れるビニール袋を人数分用意しておくと帰りが快適です。

Admission is free, but parking may be charged, so check the guidance when you enter. The grounds are large, so check your destination on a map before you start walking to avoid wasted steps. During the strongest sun, choose the shaded paths. Carry plenty to drink as you walk.
