About this spot

Located in Omagari, Kitahiroshima City, this is one of the largest outlet malls in Hokkaido. It has both a food court and restaurants, so a child who wants noodles and an adult who wants a set meal can both be satisfied in the same place. It is also reassuring that you can top up here on anything missing for the afternoon water play, such as towels, sandals or sunscreen. Being indoors, you can escape the sun and rest properly, and there are diaper-changing and nursing spaces as well. Wattsu Nature Park is a short drive away, so it is convenient to get everything ready before heading over.

輪厚自然公園水遊び場は、北広島市にある無料の水遊びスポットです。2026年の開設期間は未発表ですが、例年は夏休みの時期に合わせて水が出ます。小さな子どもでも安心して遊べる浅い水遊び場なので、歩き始めたばかりの子でも足をひたして遊べます。この公園の名物は、築山を利用した長いすべり台。斜面をそのまま生かしているので距離があり、何度でも登って滑りたくなる楽しさです。複合遊具もそろっているため水に飽きても遊びが途切れず、緑に囲まれた静かな環境なので大人は木陰から落ち着いて見守れます。

Tips

開設状況は年によって変わるため、出発前に北広島市の案内で今年の期間を確認してください。すべり台は服がぬれていると滑りにくく傷みやすいので、水遊びのあとに乾いた服へ着替えてから遊ばせると安心です。着替えの場所は限られるため、水着を服の下に着せていくと現地での支度が楽になります。夕方は風が出て体が冷えることがあるので、羽織ものを一枚持っていきましょう。

Tips

The food court gets crowded around noon on weekends, so arriving during the 11 o'clock hour makes it easier to get a seat. Buying all your drinks and snacks here saves trouble at the park. Changing clothes inside the building shortens the preparation needed at the park. The parking lot is large, but on holidays the spaces near the entrance fill up first.
