Teine Inazumi Park

About this spot

This is a large local park in Teine-ku with both play equipment and open spaces. It has lawns and equipment where children can run around, making it just right for getting some exercise in during the morning. Benches are scattered in the shade, so it also suits spreading out a sheet and eating a packed lunch. It is close to a residential area and has the calm atmosphere of a park used daily by local families. Admission is free, so it is also handy for adjusting your schedule.

札幌市手稲区の明日風公園にある「明日風公園水遊び場」は、無料で利用できる浅い水遊び池です。開設は例年7月1日(水)ごろから8月31日(月)ごろまで、時間は10:00〜16:00で、札幌市の案内は「7月上旬〜8月下旬」としています。この水遊び場の特徴は、高さの違う2本のノズルから出るシャワー。高いほうは頭から水を浴びる勢いがあり、小学生が歓声をあげて突っ込んでいく遊びになります。低いほうはやわらかく水が落ちるので、水を怖がる小さな子でも近づきやすく、年齢の違うきょうだいがそれぞれのペースで遊べます。池自体は水深が浅く、座って水にふれることもできます。料金は無料です。

Tips

終了は16:00です。着替えと片づけを考えて15:45ごろには水から上がりましょう。シャワーを浴びると体が冷えるので、休憩をはさみながら遊ばせてください。開設日は年によって前後するため、出かける前に札幌市の案内ページで当日の状況を確認してください。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを用意しましょう。

Tips

The play equipment has recommended age ranges, so check the signs before letting children play. Some spots have little to block the sun, so bring hats and drinks. There is no permanent shop, so preparing a packed lunch in advance is reassuring.
