This is the Aoba-no-Mori Prefectural Park Water Plaza, a free water-play area in Aoba-no-Mori Prefectural Park in Chuo Ward, Chiba City. In 2026 it is open from Saturday, June 20 to Sunday, August 16, from 10:00 to 16:00. In June it opens only on weekends (June 20, 21, 27, 28), and in early July also only on weekends (July 4, 5, 11, 12); from July 14 onward it opens daily. It is closed on Mondays (July 13, July 21, July 27, August 3, August 10) and also closes in bad weather, so checking the day's forecast and the calendar is essential. There are no changing rooms or showers, but the park has restrooms and a paid parking lot, and it is surrounded by wide lawns and stands of trees, so there is no shortage of places to rest. Since it is free, you can use it at your family's own pace and finish early if you tire of playing.

Tips

With no changing rooms or showers, plan to change in the car or in the shade, and bring plenty of towels for drying off.
