This is the art museum zone within Funabashi Andersen Park where kids enjoy actually making things with their hands. Several workshops line the area, and you can choose and join whichever program is open that day, such as clay, weaving, or woodworking. Being indoors lets you escape the sun, making it a good time to rest between rounds of outdoor play. Being able to take home what you made yourself is nice because 'that day' keeps coming up in conversation even after you get home. Use this time to sit and focus, in preparation for the afternoon's water play.

Tips

Workshop programs may involve an additional material fee depending on the content, and there can be a wait depending on how busy it is that day. Popular workshops tend to fill up by late morning, so it's smoother to check on availability soon after entering the park. Some pieces need time to dry, so check the pickup time before moving on to your next activity.
