About this spot

An Abiko City facility adjoining Teganuma Waterside Plaza, housing the Abikon farm produce market and a place to eat. The market is lined with vegetables grown in Abiko, and because the lineup changes with the seasons, the shopping itself becomes an enjoyable part of the day. Its biggest advantage is that it stands on the same grounds as the Splash Pond, so after lunch you simply pick up your bags and walk over to the water. The coin-operated showers and coin lockers are also in this building, so checking where you will get ready to leave is reassuring. It is air-conditioned and dependable as a place to rest during the hottest hours.

我孫子市の手賀沼親水広場にある、無料の水遊び場「手賀沼親水広場じゃぶじゃぶ池」です。2026年は4月29日(水)から9月23日(水)まで、10時から16時まで利用できます。ゴールデンウィーク(4/29〜5/10)と夏休み(7/18〜8/31)は毎日開放され、9月は9月23日までの土日祝のみの開放になります。8月24日(月)と8月25日(火)はメンテナンスのため休止です。熱中症警戒アラートや光化学スモッグ注意報が発令された日は利用できないため、当日の発表を確認してから出かけてください。隣接する水の館にコインシャワー(5分100円)とコインロッカー(1日100円)があり、遊んだあとにさっぱりしてから帰れるのが、他のじゃぶじゃぶ池にはない大きな強みです。

Tips

コインシャワーとコインロッカーの利用に100円玉が必要なので、事前に用意しておきましょう。夏休み期間以外は開放日が限られるため、6月や9月に行く場合はカレンダーの確認が欠かせません。熱中症警戒アラートが出た日は中止になるので、猛暑日の予報が出ている日は朝のうちに確認を。16時で終了なので、15時台には片付けを始めると落ち着いて帰れます。

Tips

The coin-operated shower costs 100 yen for 5 minutes and a coin locker costs 100 yen per day, so having 100-yen coins ready saves a scramble. The dining area gets crowded around noon on weekends, so arriving between 11:00 and 12:00 keeps things smooth. Popular vegetables can sell out in the morning, so head to the sales floor first if shopping is your priority. Buy drinks for the afternoon at the same time.
