About this spot

This is the large commercial complex that represents the bayside area of Funabashi City. With both a food court and restaurants, everyone can reach something they want to eat even when children's tastes differ. The building is air-conditioned, and being able to properly cool a body heated by the morning walk along the shore is welcome. Stock up here on anything you are short of for the afternoon water play, such as towels, spare clothes, drinks and sunscreen. There are nursing rooms and baby rest rooms too, so even with a baby along you can take a longer break with peace of mind.

Tips

Restaurants get crowded around noon on weekends and holidays, so going in before 12:00 or shifting to after 13:00 shortens the wait. The complex is very large, so deciding on a meeting point in advance keeps you from getting lost. Preparing a plastic bag for wet clothes also makes the trip home easier.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 15 minutes. To avoid the crowds, arriving in the first half of the 11:00 hour is comfortable
